MMS's Centre of Excellence for STEAM & Experiential Learning has been officially selected as a Registered Space Tutor of ISRO, for promoting space education and awareness among the student community.

Reaching for collaboration

Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium, Bangalore

A continued relationship to strengthen the school's Space Lab programming and bring planetarium grade astronomy education to students. MMS students make annual visits to the Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium for sky observation and astronomy sessions, building on the school's own Space Lab and Planetarium project work at the Centre of Excellence.

Mr. Johan Cruyff

Dutch football legend (1947–2016)

On 24 November 2011 the Rural Institute for Community Education – Mathakondapalli Model School hosted the Community Play Mela, “Explore and Experience Heritage and Culture”. Our students performed in traditional costume with drums and a decorated palanquin, and Mr. Johan Cruyff joined us as chief guest.

Johan Cruyff won the Ballon d’Or three times and later became one of football’s most influential coaches. Our ball game stadium and soccer field carry his name.
