The E-Arts Department brings together four creative disciplines under one roof, based in the school's Expressive Arts Block. Each area gets its own dedicated space and instruction, alongside the department's growing digital arts, animation and media programme.

Aethal Chorus — The English Secular Choir

One Voice · One School · One Spirit

On the occasion of India’s 80th Independence Day, MMS proudly inaugurated Aethal Chorus, marking the beginning of a transformative journey in music, harmony and artistic excellence. Guided by renowned choir conductor Ms. Disha Prarthana, students from diverse grades came together as one voice, making their debut performance a memorable expression of unity, discipline and joyful collaboration.

More than a choir, Aethal Chorus represents MMS’s commitment to holistic education — where students develop confidence, creativity, teamwork, listening skills and cultural appreciation through the power of music. The inaugural performance stood as a powerful reminder that when young voices unite with purpose, they create something truly extraordinary.

Ms. Disha Prarthana

Choir Conductor, Aethal Chorus

A choir is an arrangement of various vocal types that blend together in harmony, creating an impactful and meaningful auditory experience. To sing in a choir is to understand music on a technical level and to express it in all its beauty.

The Aethal Chorus is MMS’s first ever choir ensemble, aiming to perform and share the love for music that these young singers possess. Aethal means a sense of pure, ethereal and delicate sound, which resonates beautifully within this choir.

I am delighted to be conducting this choir, where voices create magic on stage.
