Our Aim in MMS Hosur CBSE Schools

Our aim is to have excellence and equity in student performance through continuous improvement in teaching, learning and the assessment process that is reinforced by evidence-based research and innovation in Hosur CBSE schools . We use a holistic quality management approach leading to greater equity in student performance.

A “one-of-a-kind” school in Krishnagiri District, Tamil Nadu, we are a research-oriented model school in “Child Centric Learning”. COFT:

Similarly, we strive for and emphasize high priority for quality and state-of-the-art Teacher’s Training with a key focus on delivering a child-centric, context-oriented curriculum. Hence, this approach is in contrast with the current trend of seeking academic adequacy that does not necessarily translate to excellence in real life. This is because, Our experiential teaching-learning process, “COFT”, has four dimensions, specifically implemented in the following order:

CCE:

We have a well-defined process for the professional development of our faculty. Our Teachers are lifelong learners focused on continuous improvement of their “quality of teaching” and commitment to enhancing student potential. Continuous in-service training, on-the-job training, and performance appraisal ensure professional growth.  This is because, Since 2000, we have been following Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE), wherein children are assessed at regular intervals with professional criteria and indicators. The school follows

» Formative assessment for understanding the rate of learning,

» Diagnostic assessment for identifying the difficulties/problems in learning, and

» Summative assessment for measuring the quantum of learning.

CAMPUS:

We have child-friendly campus and classrooms while each classroom measures a minimum of 1200 square feet with wide verandas, ample space to move around, child- friendly furniture and community-classroom properties like learning materials and stationery. Each class is well organized with niches for a library, workstation, displays, and storage. Moreover, the maximum number of students for every class is 30 and the overall teacher-student ratio is 1:10. The average space per student is an impressive 3 square meters an even more. Pastoral care and even more.
