MM School is a Technology Enabled School in Tamil Nadu. To accommodate the needs of the 21st-century learners, a state-of-the-art wired & wireless communications, computers, security surveillance and server infrastructure are installed. These are periodically reviewed and enhanced for currency in communication, processing and surveillance tools in the ever-evolving world of technology.
Our communication infrastructure is an Optic Fiber Cable that carpets the campus, thereby enabling enhanced internet connectivity and classroom learning. This is done in a manner that complements technology and education seamlessly. Our Learning Centers fully utilize the best-of-breed technology tools, both hardware and software, for an enriching learning experience.
- Learning Spaces
- Energy
By thoughtfully crafted our learning spaces, we aim to provide students with a rich, multifaceted educational experience that prepares them for the complexities of the modern world.
At MM School, we’re reimagining our campus to maximize the value of in-person education in the modern era. Our learning spaces are designed to complement and enhance face-to-face interactions, recognizing the unique benefits they offer alongside digital learning.
Our approach carefully balances online and in-person activities, with our physical spaces reflecting this integrated model. We’ve created an atmosphere that inspires creativity, critical thinking, and engagement – elements that are challenging to replicate in a purely digital environment.
Key features of our redesigned spaces include:
- Flexible layouts to support various teaching methods and group sizes
- Areas that encourage spontaneous collaboration and social learning
- Environments that foster scholarly focus and intellectual energy
- Safe, health-conscious designs that prioritize student well-being
We continuously reviewing our work to make the campus sustainable energy wise. The primary focus is always given on effective utilization of electrical and electronic items to bring down the unit usage of electricity tariff and UPS (24/7) from servers and other electronic equipment. Solar energy is in effective use and there is concrete planning in place to make maximum use of this source of energy.
Classrooms
As we look ahead what are next, we need to rethink how to leverage technology and physical classroom space design in a way that elevates both platforms to create a safe learning environment for all children that will enhance learning outcomes.
Dairy Farm
We have 10+ cattle, for milk and manure. Residential students and staff are provided with organic milk from the dairy farm. Cow dung is used as organic manure for agriculture. During vacations, milk is sold to generate funds for the school.
Organic Farm
Over 11 acres of our campus are dedicated to agriculture and gardening. We practice organic farming, providing students with hands-on, practical education in vegetable cultivation. The vegetables grown on this land are used in the students’ kitchen and staff canteen. Organic manure is produced using cow dung from our cattle farm, kitchen waste, and weeds, which is then utilized in our fields. We are continually working to expand our organic farming area and improve our processes.
